Our Vision | Precision

Pioneering a whole-brain interface, to understand and treat the entire brain.

The future is multi-region, high-resolution brain access. We're delivering it. T h e f u t u r e i s m u l t i - r e g i o n , h i g h - r e s o l u t i o n b r a i n a c c e s s . W e ' r e d e l i v e r i n g i t .

Co-founded by a Neurosurgeon

For two decades, Dr. Rapoport has worked to bridge the gap between the engineers and scientists developing BCI technology and the needs of the people who stand to benefit from it, as well as those of their physicians and caregivers. His commitment is rooted in daily contact with patients and families as a neurosurgeon at Mount Sinai.

“To deliver on the true promise of this technology to improve lives, you need to be able to access the entire surface of the brain without harming it. That’s what Layer 7 is designed to achieve.”

Dr. Benjamin Rapoport MD, PhD, Co-Founder & Chief Science Officer
